In my BNI meeting this past week I was shocked to see our HVAC/plumber – Joe Tomlinson of New England Pride – take a very serious stand when it came time for his 45 second commercial.  The room was quiet as we watched Joe quietly stand up and start to tell us the story of his niece Kayla and the four year fight she lost against HLH, hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis.

Please take a moment to check out the fund raising event for Kayla “Kisses4Kayla” here – there will be a 5k race and family fun day on September 29th at the 200 Sportsmen’s Club, 184 Sutton Rd in Webster.  Looks like it will be a good time!
