Best private school in Massachusetts!

The Bay State is home to the top private school in the country, according to these recently released rankings.

It might be private, but it’s not secret: Massachusetts has the best private school in the country.

Phillips Andover Academy took top billing in Niche.com’s recently released rankings. In fact, the Bay State had three of the top 22 private schools in the country.

The rankings are “based on rigorous analysis of data from the U.S. Department of Education along with test scores, college data, and ratings collected from millions of Niche users,” according to Niche.com.

Winsor School in Boston ranked as the 16th best private school in America, while Deerfield Academy was No. 22.

4. Groton School
5. Middlesex School (Concord)
6. Milton Academy
7. BB&N School (Cambridge)
8. The Roxbury Latin School (West Roxbury)

10. Commonwealth School (Boston)
