Through the end of the year there is a $25 rebate available on programmable thermostats purchased at Home Depot! You can use the rebate to purchase the $25 Honeywell Model (here) or put it towards a more sophisticated model.

Programmable thermostats are a great way to save on heating costs, we’ve been using them for years. It is worth pointing out though this rebate referenced is only for ‘natural gas’ customers. If your fuel source is oil or propane don’t despair, there’s a $25 rebate for NSTAR customers too, http://www.nstaronline.com/docs3/ee-rebate-forms/thermostat.pdf.
